SUPT Homecoming Weekend Events

Saturday and Sunday, October 19th and 20th,  2013

Come and join us for a fantastic homecoming weekend filled with SUPT events, including the annual Gala, job fair, a continuing education course featuring Dr. Bob Duvall and the SUPT family breakfast. Details for each of these events can be found below.

Continuing Education Course

Title: “Advanced Differential Diagnosis and Medical Screening for all Practice Environments”

SEMINAR DESCRIPTION:  This is an evidenced-based seminar on evaluative procedures for physical therapists to treat a person without a referral.  The seminar will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance the physical therapists’ medical screening and clinical judgments regarding diagnosis, with emphasis on when to treat and when to refer their patients.  

Dates: Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21st. 

Time: 7:30am – 5:00pm on Saturday, 8:00am to 2:00pm on Sunday

Presented by: Robert E DuVall, PT, DHSc, MMSc, ATC, CSCS

Cost: $450.00, ($300.00 for SUPT Clinical Instructors and alumni)

This course will satisfy Virginia state requirements for direct access.

SUPT Family Breakfast

Come to meet your student’s faculty and see what they have been learning. 

Time: 9am
Date: Sunday October 20th
Location: SUPT Student Lounge (2nd Floor of the Winchester Rehab Hospital)

The George Washington Hotel has special rates for our events. You must book by Sept 18th to guarantee the rate. They are holding rooms for October 18th and 19th at  $129/night. Be sure to mention “SU Division of Physical Therapy” to get the blocked rate.
